The ancient wisdom!

Hello all,

Namaste! Hope you are doing well and life is showing you how to lead a life full of wisdom to capture your greatest and highest Self.  Last week, we discussed how our mind can bring us up as well and how it can destroy us. It is the greatest asset that can stand by us and it is also the greatest impediment that can tear us apart. We also discussed how true awareness can help us to differentiate between the inklings coming from our Soul and the random ramblings of a restless mind.

If we truly open our awareness and see, everyone is doing everything possible under the Sun to make their mind happy, whether to run after electronic gadgets, get the latest modern technology, or to embrace the fast pace of the life. We are running, running, and running. To where? At the end of our life to lie in a bed of regrets, frustrations, and disappointments? Is that how we are supposed to live
our lives?

Humans: In Christianity, it is said, 'So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him;' (Book of Genesis,1:27). So, is it just in the outside physical image or within as well with the creative might as powerful as the Divine itself? If God created him/her in his/her image, shouldn't the capability of a human be at the level of the Divine itself? Just wondering, shouldn't it be? So, should we assume that we are lesser beings as small as an ant, helpless in this wide ocean of life?

What if I say, it is our mind or the subconscious archetypal patterns that keep us stuck in fear, scariness, and assuming a very lesser version of ourselves? Let me ask, can in the same place, demon and Divine exist? Can mice and a snake exist together? No. It cannot. One has to go for the other to exist. If fear is there, Divine cannot exist. Divine is the shining effulgent light. Fear thrives in the dark corners of the mind. So, in brilliant light, darkness just cannot exist. Period!

The same way where there is true wisdom, ignorance cannot exist. So, here in Bible, it is said that man was made in the image of God. So why don't we assume man also has the same capabilities to create their kingdom in their life. But what if this fear as well as our own 'small mind' that keeps us stuck in life? It keeps us stuck, stagnant, just spending the days, living by. To come out of such a type of living first we have to come out of our own smaller version mentality. When we ourselves think, 'we are small', who else can help us? Divine is saying 'Believe in yourself'. But we are saying, "No, I am so small, helpless and hopeless."

When our own mind is working against us and keeping us at a very small mindset, can we ever reach a greater stance in our own lives? If half of ourselves work against ourselves, how can we ever reach an echelon of a higher stand? Is it possible? No. Every sacred text informs this. The sacred texts are not just to read and understand. But they are to understand and later live. They are true 'manuals' for life. Instead, we keep them as 'sacred texts' and just read them as a prayer book. Why don't we put them to proper use, as manuals for life? Almost every text do their job beautifully. We don't have to convert or go in search of another religion. Being in our own place or religion in life we can get to that highest version of ourselves.

Acorn to Oak: Before, we discussed how an acorn, which is really small, once it gets enough water and sunlight becomes the huge Oak tree. Did anyone give it the details or a manual to grow? No. The minute it gets its correct circumstances without anyone's help it becomes the humongous Oak. As soon as it becomes a plant with leaves, every year without a fault drops it's leaves during winter and grows new leaves during spring. Did anyone ask it whether it wants to shed leaves, whether it wants to grow leaves? Did it need permission from anyone to do its duty? No.

That wisdom was already embedded in it, how to sprout the seedling from the seed, how to grow roots to keep itself in the soil, how to grow to become a huge Oak. It doesn't need anybody's permission, approval, or knowledge. The ancient wisdom of the Universe is embedded in it. Now, the same case with a human baby. Does once the cell gets embedded in the womb need any design engineer's approval to become a full term baby or has someone literally has to go and sculpt the baby? Does it need manual to create itself or to grow big? No.

The human as the mother just provides the food, water, and the vitamins or the minerals as necessary. The baby grows from the ancient wisdom that is embedded in the genes of the babies cells as DNA. We, every creation come with our own blueprint to form, function and evolve. So, if an acorn can grow into a giant Oak and two cells can grow in a 9-10 month gestational period to a newborn, should we doubt the wisdom that manages this process? Should we? So, now let me introduce that ancient wisdom to us.

The wisdom of the Universe: The wisdom that runs this gigantic Universe, that keeps everything working like clockwork. If the acorn can become an Oak and two cells can become a full-grown human baby, should we think, once the baby becomes an eighteen-year-old, the Universe washes its hands like Pilates during the crucifixion of Jesus? Let me give another example. Consider a newborn baby. From the second he/she is born till the baby becomes an adult, how many stages the baby goes through. Crawling, toddling, standing, teething, puberty, and more.

We, as parents, give our babies/kids food, water, shelter, comfort, and education. Of course, it is a huge thing. I am not belittling that fact. But are we literally doing something to make them grow up than providing food and water? No. They grow by that same ancient wisdom embedded in their DNA- their very own blueprint. So, once they are 18 or 21 years, does the Universe or the ancient wisdom wash off its hands of us? No.

Now to the very unfortunate fact. The Universe didn't wash its hands off us. But we, the humans wash our hands off the Universe. What a paradox!! Until we are 18/21 when the Universe was actively making us adults we abode by the rules, as we had to grow up. Once we are adults we discard the wisdom of the Universe and start thinking from our adult mind. We have now become adults, isn't it?? Now, why should we listen to the Universe?

Now, our mind starts to become active. The mind, which is the faculty that helps us to think. The mind is very important, That is why I dedicated so many posts to the mind. But the mind can analyze facts that are provided to it. It needs information. It cannot make things from the emptiness. But a mind that is cluttered can lead us astray as well. (Ask me about it. I have 25 years to show my Biotech saga, that took me away from my true purpose, though it was needed for my own awareness to open.) But there is another thing that can never go wrong- our own heart.

Heart as not in the literal heart. But the heart space. The heart chakra-the Anahata. The seat of true wisdom. That is deeply embedded in our core - the Soul, Krishna, or the higherSelf. Have you seen in Christianity? Jesus many times is depicted with a heart. The Anahata or the heart space, that holds the ancient wisdom, to lead us even after us becoming an adult.

Anahata - The heart space: This chakra is depicted as green in color. Why? Go outside. Look around. (Don't go to the middle of the city and look around.) But go to the countryside or forest and look around. What is the major color you see? Green! The color of nature - the ever nourishing. That is why the heart chakra is depicted as green. So, this space's nourishment is needed for us to really be truly and emotionally happy. The heart space that speaks through intuition or feelings. The ever nourishing our own inner center we have. But what do we do?

Once we hit the adulthood, we neglect our intuition, feelings, and anything related to the heart. We go behind our mind, which has no solid roots once the heart is not in the picture. The heart center is needed to anchor the mind in a solid place. But we in our enthusiasm of adulthood just throw away our heart. Yes, I am totally a culprit. I just listened to my mind. I raise my hand.

So, when the mind is not anchored to the solid guidance of wisdom we have inbuilt in us, our life becomes a balloon with the string cut off.  We fly through air or life, aimless. So, who discarded whom? Then we go to the temple, church, or mosque and pray our heart off. Funny, isn't it? We can always go and pray. Nothing wrong with that. That truly helps to ground us. But is it enough to pray and wait for someone to save us or should we partake the wisdom we already have?

That is why heart chakra is given so much importance. The love for ourselves, others, other creatures and the Universe itself is lodged here, in the heart space. A 'closed heart' is that, closed. It would find faults with anything and everything in this world. Because that closed heart is not sustained by the love of the 'ancient wisdom or Universal intelligence'. That heart has to find love and value from outside, from others. How much can others sustain them? Can they sustain them for a whole life? No.

When their task is done they go their way. The closed heart person is constantly on the lookout for that deep anchor, groundedness, and love. But as long as their own heart is closed, what is the vibration they are projecting? Of their own closed heart. What vibration can they expect to come back? Of course the vibration of a closed heart. The Universe is the most perfect boomerang. It sends them back unendingly what they put out in the first place. Again, 'Your inner reality reflects outside'.

As long as they don't turn within and fix their own heart, that is how their life would be- closed, chaotic, and with toxic circumstances. So, look at anyone who finds faults with others. What would be their inner reality? They would have to first would find fault with themselves. That they project outside and find fault with others. Here the heart space is locked and dead bolted so that the eternal nourishment of the Universe is barred to them. Everything is from the mind space, the eternal balloon that goes around trying to find the solid anchor somewhere where they can finally rest.

Be kind to them if you can. Being a balloon for lifetimes after lifetimes is not easy. They never find that place where the Soul can rest, thinking, finally, 'this is my home'. They are on search lifetime after lifetime to find their place. They balloon around until they find that anchor or the home within themselves, in the depths of their heart space. Until then they are condemned eternally to search, search, and search.

Ancient wisdom: See the true difference between the heart space and the mind space, the wisdom and the intellect? Intellect can take you to places, oceans, and lands afar. But when it is time to return home, unfortunately, there is no home. There are only hotels, motels, restaurants, rent-a-cabins, and more. The Soul has no place to rest, peacefully realizing the fact, the eternal home is within in the heart space. The ancient wisdom of the Universe, which made a home in the heart space for each and every Soul.

Look at every sacred book. What does it expound? Look within. Go inside. Contemplate deeply. It is not just to realize 'Who you are'. But it is also to become peaceful in the realization you know who you are, and you find that deep wisdom within. Above that, it is also to realize your own heart space, the eternal spring of love that is hidden deep within. You can call it Soul, Krishna, Brahman, Holy ghost, Allah, or Guru Granth Sahib. Any name you want. You can use any religion you want. You can use no religion at all. You can be an agnostic, atheist, or nothing at all. But with every single person, that small speck of 'home- the feeling of peace, comfort, and authenticity' is embedded, deep within, in the heart chakra, the heart space, or the Anahata, in the nourishing color of green. Eternally being home and nourishing!

Now, finally a question. What do you think about the Universal intelligence or the ancient wisdom? Is it brilliant? Smart? Dumb? Or brainless?

I wish you a good weekend and I'll see you next Friday!😉

Next week: Is it enough to be smart?

Ralph Waldo Emerson writes, "There is a time in every man's education when he arrives at the conviction that envy is ignorance ; that imitation is suicide; that he must take himself for better for worse as his portion that though the wide universe is full of good, no kernel of nourishing corn can come to him but through his toil bestowed on that plot of ground which is given to him to till. The power which resides in him is new in nature, and none but he knows what that is which he can do, nor does he know until he has tried".
